ROI and A.J. Specialties showing the TRUE Holiday Spirit

   
 
On Saturday, December 17th ROI Merrillville and Crown Point Member Tony Schifino, owner of A.J. Specialties, was asked to be a drop-off location for the local Northwest Indiana Angel Tree foundation. Radio host Veronica Carter from FM 101.1 along with her former Z 107.1 host Don Clark were at the store to greet customers, hoping to generate local donations.
 
The Angel Tree program provides toys, coats, boots, and gloves to children in need during the holiday season. To benefit the fundraiser, the Crown Point ROI Leadership team decided to donate $200 worth of items; hoping to make an impact on the children that may be Northwest Indiana’s business leaders of the future.

Monday, December 12:  We had a great meeting in Merrillville this morning! We invite all NWI businesses to come for a cup of coffee and networking on Mondays from 7:15 am-8:30am in the meeting room at AJ Specialties, 1308 E. 85th Avenue in Merrillville.  Next Monday, Dec. 19 will be our last meeting of 2011.  Happy holidays to all!

How are you using Social Media

Small business owners can enjoy a higher level playing field with large companies through social media marketing. Accessing social network sites and social media tools enable you to connect directly to your customers and get a clear idea as to what they want, where they are and what makes them tick.
